Paul Colling raising funds in the Eiger Bike Challenge

On 12th August 2007, Paul Colling completed the '10th Annual Eiger Bike Challenge'. This is an off-road 88km mountain bike race centred round the Swiss Alpine village of Grindelwald. The route takes in some of the highest passes in the region and the total climb equates to 3970m, which conveniently is the height of the Eiger! This is renowned as one of the toughest 'single day' mountain bike challenges there is, and is not to be taken lightly!

The agony and the ecstasy

Paul completed the race in 7hrs 56mins, coming 203rd out of 307. He raised a fantastic £633.97 (including Gift Aid) for Edward's Trust

We don't know how you did it but we all send you a mountain sized:

 "Well Done Paul!!"
