Picture of one of the displays at Newburgh School
Following an assembly taken by Jeremy Walker of Edward's Trust, Newburgh School in Warwick, went straight into action to let their community know about the vital and precious work done by Edward's Trust with so many families from all over the region.
Virtually all the children got involved in making displays, arranging and putting on various different fundraising activities, all of which helped to raise a fantastic £400!
The children were so enthused and remembered the assembly many months later when Jeremy re-attended the school to be presented with the cheques.
The next activity will be a visit by members of the School Council to Edward House so they can see how their efforts are helping to change lives.
A huge THANK YOU goes to all at Newburgh school for their commitment, compassion and hard work in caring for other children and their families supported by Edward's Trust.
Why don't you arrange for Jeremy to visit your school? Its a great experience and one which the children remember and which helps 'fire' them up for all aspects of citizenship and care in the community.
Give Jeremy a call and get it in the diary!
