The Magic Jigsaw - by Edward Dent
| previous | back to index | next |
South Birmingham Sinfonia is a Bournville based amateur orchestra
Founded 30 years ago, the orchestra has recently grown and developed a high standard of performance under its inspired conductor, Lee Differ.
On Friday 1st February they will be performing The Magic Jigsaw written by Lindsay Lucas (and arranged for SBS by Lee Differ). It is based on a poem written by Edward Dent, which appears in our Teatime Treats cook book.
The performance will be at Birmingham Town Hall and all seats are priced at £8.50. Proceeds from the performance will be shared between Edward's Trust and St Mary's Hospice.
Without a doubt, this is going to be a fantastic evening out!
Many, many thanks to everyone who contributed their time, energy and efforts in organizing and producing this remarkable concert. Our very special thanks go to our patron Judy Dyke of Tyndalwoods Solicitors who read Edward's poem and made it all happen!
