Wandering Celts Wander up Snowdon!

Walking for Edward House, the Wandering Celts prepare for their climb
In their own words they had this to say:
The Wandering Celts, intrepid fools and hero's walked up Snowdon on April 1st to raise money for Edward's Trust. The Trust's good works are well respected and admired. It was a cold wintry day and according to 'Welsh weather' standard! We had rain, hail, sunshine and snow in the first fifteen minutes and it remained changeable thereafter. The walk from the station at Llanberis began accompanied by a loud clap of thunder and a flash of lightening. Perhaps the Gods were with us after all. It was a hard steady walk to the top and halfway up there were loud shouts of encouragement from those unable to make the endeavour, shouting their support from the train.
Several hours later we finally reached the top, where a lighter member of the party had to be restrained from blowing off the summit!. The return journey was almost as difficult as the ascent. Everyone was suffering from weary joints and limbs. It took quite a lot of water, food and encouragement to keep us going.
A hot cuppa and hearty congratulations awaited the returning party at base camp in Llanberis. A worthy task well done!
And so say all of us! The total amount raised by this group so far is an amazing
£4495.41!
