All hands to the deck!

Stacey Duncan (charity events organiser) and her colleagues from Asquith Nursery in Springfields, Lichfield decided to clean up for Edward's Trust by organizing a charity car wash at the nursery on 20th August.

She was joined by Jo Worth, Penny Clements & Terry, Caszandra Nicholl and Sam Jones. Also lending a hand and hose were a team from Lichfield Fire Station and our own Jeremy Walker (Community Liaison Officer). The sun shone and the cars kept wheeling in for that extra sparkle. Each car driver was asked for a donation of £3. Well in excess of £200 was raised in just a few hours!

Asquith Nursery have been faithful supporters since hearing about out work and allowing us to share at a staff meeting. They then visited Edward House to see firsthand the difference people can make through their fundraising efforts. Sally (pictured right) recognised the importance of supporting children and families not just within the nursery but outside of it too.
