The Brave Tale of the Fictitious Five

The Fictitious Five meet up with Jeremy at Edward House

As told by Laura Ryan:

"It was a regular day at The Fictitious Headquarters. Kerri called the team to meet at the Table of Well-doers at precisely 12 o'clock. Rachel and Michael C were first to arrive to be briefed about the new mission. Kerri began the meeting; "The situation is this; we've been given a chance to do some good in the world and change this ten pound note into more, using only our wits and nothing else!" Rachel wasn't paying attention; she was too busy staring at the vending machine. "Rachel would you please do something useful!" demanded Michael C, "Give me chocolate and I might" she replied. "Rachel... you're a genius" said Kerri, dumbstruck. Rachel looked confused but flashed a smirk at Michael C all the same. Laura and Michael T suddenly burst through the Doors of Justice. "I am SO sorry!" burst out Laura "Michael T decided to see what would happen if he put our alarm clocks in the microwave." Kerri waved the feeble excuse away, "It doesn't matter, you two have a job to do, but first, we must hide beneath secret identities! To the post-office!”

"With newly acquired passports the team set off into the world as 5 students, cleverly disguised, having changed their names and clothes. "BUY CHOCOLATE COVERED SKEWERS HERE, ONLY £1" the team shouted over the crowded hall. Masses of students clustered around the table where Kerri's fountain was pumping Thornton's chocolate to meet the swarms demands. The team worked effortlessly to sate the crowd’s thirst for chocolate. Most only wanted marshmallows and ignored the fruit - which worked out well for the team, who ate well that day. The fountain idea was such a success the crowd demanded more. The Fictitious Five were happy to respond and so repeated the idea the following week. Overall they raked in £256.00!

"Back at the Headquarters Kerri congratulated her team on their fine money-raising skills. "Edward's Trust will be thankful to you for all your hard work team! All we have to do now is write up a report... but how shall we start?" Laura grabbed a pen, "I have an idea!"

Many thanks to you all for your hard work... great story too by the way!
